Hotel Florist Retreat

A portrait-led photographic series for Hotel Florist’s retreat, bringing people and flowers into the same frame. From relaxed window-side portraits to shared moments aboard a yacht, the images balance individual character with a consistent visual thread of warm interiors, soft daylight and vivid floral colour.

Task

Document the retreat through individual and group portraits, keeping the people at the centre. Include the floral arrangements and surroundings without letting either overshadow the expressions and connections that define the series.

Strategy

Alternate close portraits with wider group compositions to give the series variety and context. Use windows, seating areas and floral arrangements as natural settings for relaxed poses and direct, personable images.

Design

Soft daylight and warm neutrals anchor the edit, with burgundy, pink and orange providing colour accents. Window frames, clean walls and selective focus keep the compositions clear while giving faces and flowers room to stand out.
